Saga Communications

Ocala, FL

A state-of-the-art radio station was custom designed and constructed for the North Central Florida Media Group and Saga Communications, known to most as WindFM and 93.7 KCountry. We were contracted to build the new home for these two broadcasting groups, and while this may look like an everyday office building, it is certainly not. Rooms were specifically designed with sound decibel rated windows and wall construction to eliminate sound transmission. Also, a foundation had to be drilled eight feet in diameter and four stories down into the earth to support a one-hundred-foot-tall radio transmission tower.
